1. Free trial
Joppa Pro and Joppa Team start with a 14-day free trial, with every Pro feature. Your payment method is registered at checkout but is not charged during the trial. Cancel from your account ↗ before the trial ends and you pay nothing. Otherwise, the first year is charged on the last day of the trial.
The trial is there so you can try Joppa Pro before paying. Please use it: once it is over, payments are final.
2. No refunds after the trial
Once the trial is over, payments are not refunded, in whole or in part. This applies to:
- the first year of a subscription;
- yearly renewals;
- seats added to a Team subscription during the year;
- the unused part of a period, including when you cancel or stop using Joppa.
The Free edition stays available at no cost, with no time limit.
3. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from your account ↗. Cancelling stops the next renewal: you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for, then Joppa falls back to the Free edition. Nothing is deleted: your projects and domains keep running; the services beyond the Free edition are stopped, their data is kept and their databases can still be exported.
To avoid an unwanted renewal, cancel before the renewal date shown in your account.
4. Billing errors
We always refund, through Polar and to the original payment method, a charge made in error:
- a duplicate payment;
- a wrong amount;
- a charge made after a cancellation you completed in time.
5. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, the statutory 14-day withdrawal period starts when you subscribe, that is when the free trial starts. It runs during the trial, while nothing has been charged, and you exercise it simply by cancelling the trial. Nothing in this policy limits the rights you have under applicable consumer law, in particular the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content.
