MCP server

Connect Claude Code, Claude Desktop or Cursor to Joppa with the MCP server, and the list of tools they can use.

joppa mcp is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server over stdio. Through it, a coding assistant sees your projects and their domains, starts services, reads their logs, creates databases or projects and reads the .env.

Connect an assistant

The simplest way: Settings › Command line › Connect the assistants. Or from the terminal:

joppa mcp install # Claude Code, Claude Desktop and Cursor, whichever are installed
joppa mcp install --client cursor --dry-run # shows what would be written
joppa mcp uninstall
Client Where Joppa registers itself
Claude Code claude mcp add --scope user, otherwise its config file
Claude Desktop claude_desktop_config.json
Cursor ~/.cursor/mcp.json

Only the mcpServers.joppa entry is written; the rest of the file stays as is. Restart the assistant afterwards.

--client accepts claude-code, claude-desktop, cursor or all.
